Maureen Ferguson is the founder and principal of Siena Consulting, a government relations and strategic consulting firm based in Washington, DC. She is a widely published writer, speaker, and strategic advisor on a variety of cultural, policy, and family issues. Ferguson was appointed by Speaker Mike Johnson to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, where she currently serves as Commissioner. 

Ferguson has been featured in numerous outlets, such as ABCNews, CNN, FoxNews, Newsweek, National Review, Roll Call, The Hill, USA Today, U.S. News and World Report, and RealClearPolitics. From 2012 to 2024, she was a Senior Fellow with The Catholic Association and co-host of the nationally syndicated EWTN radio show and podcast Conversations with Consequences.

Today Ferguson serves on the Executive Advisory Committee of the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture at the University of Notre Dame and the Advisory Board of Belmont House, an initiative of Belmont Abbey College. She also serves on the boards of the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast, American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists Action, and the Institute for Families and Technology.
